Did you know that the average mom can spend up to an hour (if not longer) cooking and prepping meals for their family? That’s up to 3hrs a day, or 21hrs a week… Planning those meals? Adds on a little bit of time… Making a list? That takes time too… Oh, and you can’t forget grocery shopping! Time, time, & more time – it’s literally a part-time job just feeding your family each week.
Now – there is always the option to use meal delivery services, but – if you happen to have an odd number of family members, or live like 5 steps outside of the delivery zone – it immediately becomes more hassle than help. So, needless to say – this doesn’t work for everyone.
On that note, we’re hoping that since we share the same struggles – we can help make your life a little easier. “How?” You might ask? Each week, we’ll share a new family-friendly recipe with you; including a shopping list of everything you’ll need, step-by-step instructions on making the meal, and our favorite kitchen tools used in the process.

When you have a family of 5, even without any picky eaters – everyone still has their own tastes. So, while one family member might rave about a certain meal, another one thinks it’s too salty and another thinks ehh… it’s okay. It’s truly a miracle when everyone actually agrees on the same meal – so for our first Recipe of the Week, I’m going to show you an extremely good and extremely easy meal I made just the other day. This is one dish that had all five members of my family not just going back for seconds, but polishing off an entire pan! We present the Beef Stuffed Shells with Cheese Sauce!
